Putsborough is a beach, near to Croyde, in north Devon, England. It is not far from Georgeham, Withywell Lane, Croyde Bay and Saunton.
Putsborough Sands is located to the south of Woolacombe Sands, and is privately owned, with a car park, caravan site and shop nearby. Located on the north coast the beach is good for surfing, especially for those new to surfing, as the waves are quite slow, due in part to the Baggy Point headland which protects the beach from some of the stronger south westerly winds.
The sandy beach itself will appeal to families and young children as it has a number of paddling pools formed the outcrops of rocks. With Croyde beach and Woolacombe beach not far away, this area forms an ideal location to base a family holiday.
